Himeshima Village, Hiji Town) was recognized as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System.

Qingyuan Forest-Mushroom Co-culture System in Zhejiang Province

In November 2022, Qingyuan has become one of the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage.
The heritage site is located in 13 administrative villages and
one state-owned forest farm in three townships, including
Songyuan Street, Baishanzu Town and Wudabao Township, Qingyuan County, with a total area of 14,117.43 hectares. It is
the birthplace of the world’s artificial cultivation technology
of shiitake mushrooms.
